It’s March, which means March Madness, St. Patrick’s Day and spring are right around the corner! At Vineyard Henderson, we had a great time celebrating all the wonderful holidays this winter and can’t wait to keep celebrating in March.

 Blood Drive – March 2

Blood Drive

We hosted a blood donation drive on Wed., March 2 at our Vineyard Memory Care community for our latest Vineyard Gives initiative. Giving blood is one of the best ways to support your community. Every donation saved or improved up to three lives – and it took less than an hour.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to support us!

February Happenings
National Pizza Day

On February 9, our residents celebrated National Pizza day with a personal pizza-making event. Pizza is serious business around here – look at that concentration and pepperoni placement! We love hosting these fun events for our residents 🍕 🍕 🍕

Valentine’s Day Sock Hop and Milkshakes

We had a fantastic time celebrating love in all its forms on Valentines. Our residents showed off their best dance moves with a 1950’s themed Sock Hop and finished the day with delicious milkshakes.

Tips for Caregivers

Caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s or dementia is challenging and rewarding. We asked our staff of memory care professionals to share their best tips for navigating the early stages of dementia as a caregiver:

🌱 Find a Mentor and Build Your Caregiver Network

🌱 Devote Equal Time to Your Needs

🌱 Be Patient With Yourself, and Those you Care For

🌱 Develop a Long-Term Care Plan

If you or your loved one is navigating the early stages of a diagnosis, the Vineyard Tribe wants you to know that you’re not alone. Give us a call to chat about the next steps at (702) 832-2180. For more caregiver tips, take a look at our blog post

From our Tribe to yours, we wish you a wonderful month.
