Music to Your Years
This month, we’re diving deep and talking about the dynamic effects that music can have on memory, mood, and overall happiness for seniors. Follow along on our social media to see how music is a tremendous part of our programming here at Vineyard Bluffton!
We wanted to introduce some of our Vineyard Tribe members this month!
Meet Carla Edens, our Memory Care Director.
Carla comes to us with several years of experience as a life enrichment and memory care director and a passion for helping senior living residents live life to the fullest.
Meet Tracie King, our Care Services Director.
Tracie comes to us with over 30 years of nursing experience and extensive experience with geriatrics. Tracie loves spending time with residents and is looking forward to making life-long memories at Vineyard Bluffton.
We love having these ladies as part of our Vineyard Tribe!
Therapy Dog Visit
Our memory care residents got a special visit from Denali Blue the therapy dog.
We had an action packed Easter week at Vineyard Bluffton. We kicked off the week with some fun crafts, followed by our scavenger hunt, and brunch with resident families!
Thanks for celebrating spring with us!
From cardio drumming to dance parties to our many guests with guitars, we are looking forward to celebrating spring with plenty of musical activities. Music can provide numerous benefits for older adults with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease. Plus, music can be used to help your loved one access memories or past experiences and improve communication.
