We are so excited to share that we finally celebrated our doors opening with our Ribbon Cutting Ceremony this month. We are thrilled that after all our hard work, we were able to celebrate in this way with residents, friends, families, and our community leaders.

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
We officially celebrated our opening with our ribbon cutting ceremony. The community was packed with residents, family, friends, and the members of the Johns Creek Chamber. Johns Creek Mayor Bradberry helped conduct the ceremony and we are forever grateful for all the support we have received from the Johns Creek community.

Mother’s Day
Our community had a wonderful time celebrating all the mom’s in our lives. Every mom was presented a rose and a special handmade gift.
Friday Happy Hour
Our Happy Hour Fridays featuring live musical guest performers is quickly becoming a resident favorite.

It has been such a joy watching the residents have fun playing games and getting exercise in at the same time.
Resident Spotlight
We closed out April with our very first Resident of the Month feature. Check out the fun facts Ms. Betty shared about herself!
- Hometown? Dunwoody, GA.
- Who influenced you most? Betty is a Christian and believes Jesus influenced her the most.
- Favorite Hobby? Cooking, her favorite dishes are fried apple and peach pies, chicken & dumplings and a coconut cake to die for!!!
- Favorite memory? Betty Loves Elvis and saw him in concert and paid $2 for the ticket to see him at the Roxy in Atlanta. Her boyfriend at the time did not want her to go and she said, ” Too bad, I’m going”.
- Favorite thing about Vineyard? Feels at home and like she has known the other residents all her life.

We are highlighting our wonderful Chef Travis Stokes in our May Employee Spotlight. Travis graduated from the Pennsylvania Culinary Institute in 2005. He has acquired 19 years professional experience in the foodservice and hospitality industry. He shares that he joined Vineyard with one goal in mind, to elevate the senior dining experience and make each resident’s experience a remarkable one.
