Thrift Store Flip Fundraiser – November 7

“Meet the Team” Shoebox Packing Party – November 8

Each holiday season, Samaritan’s Purse organizes Operation Christmas Child, a program that brings gifts to children of lesser means. As a part of our Vineyard Gives initiative, we’re hosting a Shoebox Packing Party.

We invite you to join our new Directors, enjoy refreshments, and help pack shoeboxes with toys and gifts for Samaritan’s Purse. Feel free to bring donations, (information here) or just come by to meet our new Vineyard Bluffton Tribe!

Lowcountry Luncheon – November 14

This month, we’re hosting our Vintage Club members at Cahill’s Market and Chicken Kitchen for a homestyle luncheon. Open to residents and their families, our Vintage Club is a chance to get to know our future community members and receive announcements and updates on Vineyard Bluffton.

  • Friday, November 11, 2019, 11:30 am – 1 pm at Cahill’s Market
  • Vintage Club events are open to residents who have secured their deposit; please contact us to RSVP.

National Memory Screening Day – November 15

Through the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, Vineyard Bluffton will offer memory screening to local community members. AFA’s National Memory Screening Program provides free, confidential memory screenings administered by healthcare professionals. Think of a memory screening as a “healthy brain check-up.” We’ll give you a short 10-minute examine and let you know if you should consider a more comprehensive medical evaluation.

Memory screenings are perfect for caregivers or those with aging parents that would like a free and easy check-up on memory-related conditions.

Senior Ukulele Workshop – November 23

Seniors, come learn a new skill! Let’s play the ukulele together. Southern Gratitude, a local Bluegrass and Americana band, will lead a Saturday Ukulele Workshop at the Vineyard Bluffton Information Center. We’ll provide the ukuleles; participants will learn 5 – 6 songs during the one-hour lesson.

Music therapy is a part of our innovative activity calendar, as learning new skills and instruments can boost cognitive development. We’re excited to offer this fun and unique event to local seniors in the area! Families of participants are welcome to stay and watch as Southern Gratitude will play a few songs before and after the lesson.

Monday Martinis and Massages! 🍸 – November 25

Unwind and join us for Monday Martinis and Massages before the start of the busy holiday season. On the Monday of Thanksgiving week, we’ll help you relax with a walk-in massage and refreshing, holiday-themed martini.

We know the hustle and bustle of the holidays can wear you down, so come enjoy a little self-care with the Vineyard Bluffton tribe. We’ll have massage therapists and cold martinis waiting, no need to RSVP, just stop by!
