Resident Summer Luau 🌺 🌴

This past month we hosted a Summer Luau for our residents and their families! We decorated the entire courtyard and supplied tropical costumes for everyone. Our residents and their family members especially loved taking pictures in the photo booth and even dancing along to hula music!

While we host daily programming and smaller events each week, we like to have large events to look forward to as well. So we switch up the themes and activities to make sure we’re always celebrating in a new and exciting way.

This all fits in with our unique approach to care, connection and community, allowing our residents to THRIVE.

Focus on Dexterity: Daily Interactive Classes and Programs

Interactive Classes

Here at Vineyard, we strive to offer interactive classes that are not only fun but also beneficial. For example, we’ve recently focused on dexterity. So whether it’s flower arranging, making lava lamps, painting seashells or clipping coupons, our residents are working their hands and brains.

Motor functions and hand strength can decrease as a result of aging or dementia. So with regular exercise, we can ensure our residents remain agile.

Thanks for stopping in!
