Vineyard Gives

Helping Others, Your Way.

At Vineyard Senior Living, our founding mantra is Work Hard, Have Fun, Help Others. We make “Helping Others” the core of who we are and what we do which led us to develop our Vineyard Gives initiatives.

Our Johns Creek team focuses on providing support to local, smaller non-profit organizations including the Johns Creek Fire and Police Department, Dementia Spotlight, Mary Hall Freedom House, and Revved Up Kids.

Contributing to our local areas and supporting relevant charities helps root our senior communities and allows our Tribe and residents to connect for a more fulfilling purpose.

We are members of the Johns Creek Chamber of Commerce and supporters of Senior Services of North Fulton. Our financial sponsorship to Senior Services helps carry out their vision of “an inclusive community where ALL older adults are revered, cared for, and supported to live meaningful and productive lives,” through their Meals on Wheels program, care management programs, senior centers, transportation services, Pantry to You program, and referral programs.

Additionally, Vineyard Johns Creek sponsors the rotary of Johns Creek black and white gala. As sponsors, we help raise funds for charitable work to improve housing in other countries.

In September of 2021, we founded a community group we named, Johns Creek Roundtable. We bring together local first responders, healthcare partners, senior care providers, and community senior services to discuss each of our responsibilities, concerns, and limitations to provide our area seniors with the best care possible.

Our tribe also supports One Johns Creek Coalition and Pathways2Life in their efforts to provide and distribute Deterra bags to the community, used to dispose of old medications to help prevent controlled substances from getting into the wrong hands. We’ve also signed their pledge cards supporting their “No Shame” campaign to help combat stigma related to mental health and addiction.

It's Assisted Living week! Today's assisted living communities offer a wide range of services and amenities that can help seniors live longer, happier and more fulfilling lives.

Assisted living communities can help seniors stay socially engaged and physically active. These are two important factors in maintaining good health and well-being as we age.

Assisted living communities can provide a sense of community and belonging. Seniors can make new friends and develop meaningful relationships with other residents and staff members. This can be a valuable source of support and companionship as we age.

Of course, the cost of assisted living can be a concern for some. However, there are many ways to make assisted living more affordable. For example, the sale of a home can generate income, or some qualify for government assistance, such as VA Aid & Attendance.

Overall, assisted living can be a great option for seniors who are looking for a safe, supportive and engaging place to live. If you are considering assisted living, it is important to do your research and visit different communities to find one that is a good fit for you.

If you would like to learn more about Vineyard Johns Creek, please reach out to Christine Cavanaugh, ccavanaugh@vineyardjohnscreek.com she would be happy to assist you!
