Vineyard Gives
Helping Others, Your Way.
At Vineyard Senior Living, our founding mantra is Work Hard, Have Fun, Help Others. We make “Helping Others” the core of who we are and what we do which led us to develop our Vineyard Gives initiatives.
Our Johns Creek team focuses on providing support to local, smaller non-profit organizations including the Johns Creek Fire and Police Department, Dementia Spotlight, Mary Hall Freedom House, and Revved Up Kids.
Contributing to our local areas and supporting relevant charities helps root our senior communities and allows our Tribe and residents to connect for a more fulfilling purpose.
We are members of the Johns Creek Chamber of Commerce and supporters of Senior Services of North Fulton. Our financial sponsorship to Senior Services helps carry out their vision of “an inclusive community where ALL older adults are revered, cared for, and supported to live meaningful and productive lives,” through their Meals on Wheels program, care management programs, senior centers, transportation services, Pantry to You program, and referral programs.
Additionally, Vineyard Johns Creek sponsors the rotary of Johns Creek black and white gala. As sponsors, we help raise funds for charitable work to improve housing in other countries.
In September of 2021, we founded a community group we named, Johns Creek Roundtable. We bring together local first responders, healthcare partners, senior care providers, and community senior services to discuss each of our responsibilities, concerns, and limitations to provide our area seniors with the best care possible.
Our tribe also supports One Johns Creek Coalition and Pathways2Life in their efforts to provide and distribute Deterra bags to the community, used to dispose of old medications to help prevent controlled substances from getting into the wrong hands. We’ve also signed their pledge cards supporting their “No Shame” campaign to help combat stigma related to mental health and addiction.

To finish out Women's History Month, we are doing one more highlight from Sandra C.
The most influential woman in Sandra's life is her grandmother. Sandra's grandmother raised her after her mother passed away when she was young.
"My grandmother helped me to develop a solid foundation in education. She is the reason why I am on the trajectory that I am on now because of her goals to see me succeed and hold my own in life.
When I graduated high school at the 17 years old, I decided to pursue business studies. My grandmother paid for my education and continued to motivate me until I successfully graduated. She has been the driving force behind the person I am today.
My grandmother was very religious. She started her day with prayer and ended her day with prayer and although she is gone with the Lord, I can truly say that she was the most influential person to me."
Thank you to all who shared with us and shoutout to all the amazing women out there!

We are sharing another highlight for Women's History Month from resident family member, Jen C.
The most influential woman in Jen's life is her mom.
"I am who I am today because of what my mom instilled in me. She never stopped, never wavered and depended on herself to make a great life for her family. She taught me anything and everything is possible and to not wallow in self-pity but to always move forward."
One of Jen's favorite quotes from her mom is ➡️ "Remember to keep your heart and soul close to you and that you can always count on one person, that one person is you and you will survive and grow stronger."
Be sure to check back at the end of the week to close out Women's History Month with us!

We are thrilled to introduce Colleen Bowers, from Powerback Rehab!
Vineyard Johns Creek will be partnering with Powerback to provide physical, occupational and speech therapy onsite at our community.
Colleen has 37 years of experience of assessing and treating adults with a large variety of medical conditions within multiple settings.
She quickly developed a passion working with neurological and movement disorders such as stroke, Parkinsons disease and dementia. Her most recent passion is in the clinical assessment and treatment of adults living with Dementia or Alzheimers, using therapeutic approaches to slow progression of the disease by preserving motor pathways for daily living skills through meaningful and purposeful activities.
Colleen has demonstrated positive patient outcomes with extensive Occupational Therapy intervention in the Assisted and Memory Care settings. She believes that every adult has potential to engage their bodies and brain in activities they enjoy.
Colleen works with Powerback Rehab as the Director of Rehab. She hopes to bring daily joy to each resident and family and feels grateful to serve at Vineyard Johns Creek!
